Ed Robinson
A Principled Leader

Mr. Robinson has championed the needs of the city for more than twenty years. Over this period Mr. Robinson has risen to become the second most senior member of the City Council.

He has tirelessly stood up for the needs of the less fortunate at a great expense to his own reputation. When asked why? He has responded that the measure of the value of a society/community is in how it treats the least fortunate of its citizens

He believes that when the tied rises in terms of economic opportunity, education, safety, etc. all boats both big and small are carried ashore

Ed Robinson Reminds us of the words of Frederick Douglas:
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet despise agitation are men (women) who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful raw of mighty waves. The struggle may be a moral one, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without demand, it never did and it never will.

Although it is more than 100 years since this statement was made famous the political necessity has not waiver, Mr. Robinson understands this fact. What you cannot achieve on your feet you will never gain on your knees.
