March 22, 2010 city council meeting: Council demonstrates responsible leadership, decides to take a better look at proposals before rendering a vote on the ordinance. Big Brother version dead

Questions: Who proposed the ordinance which gave the local government the unwarranted right to enter and inspect our homes? Is this person someone we want in a position of authority?
When people tell you who they are it may be wise to listen.

A strong turnout for meeting, many city residents expressed their concerns about the proposed ordinance and its intrusive nature. Kudos to longtime resident Mr. Jordan, he was the only community speaker to point out that the ordinance/plan does not address what will happen to those that are displaced by it.
If there was one sour note to the meeting if would have to be the lack of attendance by those residents that would most likely bare the impact of enforcement of this local law.

TEA (Taxed Enough Already) PARTY

April 15 I attended my second TEA party meeting on the steps of the County Complex building.
The TEA Party is a national group of comprised of local organizations that are fed up with the ever growing size of government. They believe in less taxes, less government, and constitutional principles.
The Tea Party is a nonpartisan organization. Elected officials and candidates are invited to speak regardless of affiliation. There goal is to identify candidates that support constitutional principles.

One of the challenges I believe they must overcome is the lack of visible participation by African-Americans and other so called minority groups. This problem has allowed others to label them as a separatist group. Having attend meetings I would have to disagree with the characterization. I consider myself to be an amateur constitutional scholar and believe without reservation that if America is to survive our only chance is to return to the roots of our nation which is our constitution.

Divide and conquer is an old game that has not changed due to its effectiveness.
Hitler once remarked to a group of scientist: You think I am crazy and uneducated; I know we are all the same people, but to gain power I had to play one group against the other.

If the people ever come together and realize they are being conned its game over for the elite.
